Diana Firth, Owner and Lead Designer of simplify with di, graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Family Studies
and Human Development. Following her studies, she became a counselor to at-risk youth and their families, both in Phoenix and Northern Virginia, where she provided essential skills to clients
diagnosed with ADD/ADHD, dyslexia and other learning disabilities. Diana helped them to understand their need to create an environment in their homes that would be more conducive to
learning.
Diana's sense of adventure led her to relocate to the Big Apple, where she lived and worked in downtown Manhattan for several years as a personal assistant to a very active, high profile family
of six. She managed their primary household in the city and their vacation home in Southampton including a household staff of five and the family's very active social calendar. It was here
that she learned what it takes to keep a busy family organized and how much that support enhanced their lives.
After four years in New York, Diana returned to the DC area where she received her Real Estate license in Virginia, and quickly began listing homes and hosting open houses. Diana became
successful and was able to improve the value of the home, and reduce the on-market timeframe by staging the homes. Creating appealing and interesting vignettes to appeal to the right
demographic, based on the type of home and area, led to exciting showcases where potential buyers could truly visualize themselves living there. For the sellers and the buyers, it was a
win-win! It wasn't long before other Realtors were asking Diana for help and guidance with staging, and simplify with di was born.
Diana has always lived her life in pursuit to help others. Through these experiences she gained the skills and knowledge that is needed to continue her pursuit as a Professional
Organizer, Stager and Designer.
